By far and away, the most overpowered ability in Final Fantasy 7 that can be accessed early is the fabled Beta Enemy Skill. This spell, once learned can inflict massive amounts of Fire damage to all enemies in battle and is powerful enough to one shot most random encounters for the forseeable future. Even bosses are going to struggle to match the player’s party with Beta in the arsenal!

Of course, getting it early is often seen as tricky. It can only be learned from the very strong Midgar Zolom. However, with the correct setup its really quite simple 🙂
